Aadvantage Golf Outing and Dinner Earns Rave Reviews
The third annual Aadvantage Charity Golf Outing and Dinner took place under blue skies and high spirits Friday May 7th at the Quicksilver Golf Club. Though no one was able to sink a hole-in-one for the $100,000 grand prize, they certainly had a great time trying. With more than a hundred golfers in attendance, it took the volunteer efforts of more than 30 employees to ensure the event went off smoothly. From registration, contest management, picture taking, and beverage delivery, to the raffles and auctions, the volunteers kept things running like a well oiled machine. Special recognition also needs to be given to Elena Sherwin and Darrilyn McCrerey, for without their efforts the event simply would not have been possible. Each year the Aadvantage golf outing has grown in attendance or fund raising. This year it did both. According to CEO, Mike Reardon, ?It was, by far, the best to date.? Great sponsors helped the event achieve its financial success. And while some went home with more prizes than others, no one went home empty handed. As a show of its appreciation, The Aadvantage Foundation gave each participant a $25 ticket to the Mylan Classic.
