Community Employment/Job Coaching

We assist individuals with disabilities in securing gainful employment at local businesses within their community.  We provide individual clients with intense one on one training and supervision until the individual can perform the job independently.  The initial training helps insure that job tasks meet the quality and standards of the employer, which in turn assists long term employment.

Post employment services are also available and include follow up for new tasks and duties at the employer’s requests, re-coaching for any individual who may require extra one on one training.and assistance for employers with any issues or questions.

Current community relationships include McDonald’s and one of the Pennsylvania State Police barracks.

This program provides dependable long-term employees, educates people about the value of community employment and encourages social integration between employees with and without disabilities in community worksites.

Janitorial Training Program

We offer a 16-week Janitorial Training Program that can be paid for by the  Office of Vocational Rehabilitation that meets the needs of individuals that would like to learn janitorial skills to help them attain gainful employment within the community.

Graduates work for local firms and organizations such as state license exam centers and many work in our own commercial cleaning service.
