Workshop
Our sheltered workshop currently employs over 75 individuals with disabilities. Dependin upon their situations and abbilities, they attend on either a full- or part-time basis.
Many of the employees have spent many years with us and remark that they wish the workshop were open more. They provide valuable services to local businesses and organizations, enjoy the companionship of long-time friends, and are supervised by well-trained and caring professionals. We try to maximize the skills of the employee and create an individualized job description. We have individuals who prepare for outside employment opportunities at local businesses and organizations, and individuals who remain in the workshop for an extended period.
Individuals work on light assembly, packaging, and bulk mailing jobs, earning piece-rates.
Common tasks include:
- Inserting absorbents
- Assembling Specimen Kits
- Assembling caps, chains, and rings
- Bulk Mailings (inserting, labeling, stamping, folding, collating, sealing, etc.)
- Cutting, bending, and bundling steel
- Soldering
- Deburring and painting couplings
- Gluing centers into Freon caps
- Pressure washing and drying totes
- Assembling binders
Individuals also work in Car Detailing which offers quality car cleaning services to the community and Food Service and Preparation which prepares a lunch menu daily and caters for customers. All employees earn competetive wages while taking pride in the level of quality in the jobs accomplished.

Transportation is provided to the some of the individuals attending the workshop. Transportation availability is determined by individual circumstances.
